Development

Over two years in production, the SPEDassist IEP workflow was developed in co-operation with the Hamilton Wentworth Catholic District School Board (HWCDSB) to meet the requirements of the Ontario Ministry of Education. Detailed needs analysis and user-group involvement has resulted in an IEP application that meets the requirements of multiple stakeholders across the entire school board.

The SPEDassist workflow and navigation was developed in conjunction with Elementary and Secondary Special Education Resource Teachers (SERTS).

In fact, many of the features of SPEDassist were designed directly from SERT requests!
